David Whittle has been performing home inspections since 1979. Coast Home Inspections was etablished in 1984 to provide high quality home inspection services to the home buying public.  Since that time, over 10,000 home inspections have been performed.  Our service area includes Monmouth County, Ocean County, Middlesex County, Union County and Burlington County.  Recently, home sellers have also become clients.  Sellers want to know if there are any significant problems with their house prior to listing the property.  If problems show up on the inspection report, they can be corrected prior to listing the house for sale.

Our services include thorough home inspections, radon testing and wood destroying insect certifications.  We can also provide lead paint testing on older houses, if desired.  All home inspection reports are issued within 24 hours of the inspection.  All of our reports are narrative style reports that are detailed and easy to understand and include pictures of trouble spots found during the inspection.

We provide an independent home inspection with no Real Estate Affiliations.  Our reports are unbiased.  We do not solicit Realtor referrals.  As such, there is no conflict of interest in our reporting.

We also perform expert witness work.  Whether you have a problem with a Home Improvement Contractor, a Home Seller or another Home Inspector, we can provide the necessary expertise to help you be successful with your case.

In addition to home inspections, radon testing and insect inspections, we also offer infrared camera inspections as an optional service.  We can also use a video borescope inspection camera to investigate areas that could not normally be inspected during a home inspection, such as behind walls.  Please contact our office to discuss any project, large or small.
